Seen like this. Artists with psychiatric experience from Baden-Württemberg

24 September to 6 October 2024

The touring exhibition ‘Seen like this’ will be on display at the Prinzhorn Collection Museum from 24 September to 6 October and presents the 50 prize-winning works from the art competition of the same name. The competition was organised for the sixth time on the occasion of the Baden-Württemberg State Psychiatry Day. Artists with experience of psychiatry who live in Baden-Württemberg were eligible to take part. A jury of artists, art historians, art therapists and cultural professionals selected the winners. After the award ceremony at the State Psychiatry Day on 20 July 2024 in Stuttgart, the artworks will now travel through various locations in Baden-Württemberg.

Parallel to the ‘Seen like this’ exhibition, patients from the Centre for Psychosocial Medicine will be presenting their own works in the Kraepelin Day Clinic (Thibautstraße 6, 1st floor) under the title ‘I show myself!’. The exhibition can be visited during this period from Monday to Friday between 11am and 4pm.
